Hi everyone
Just a quickie and I know I'm been stupid.
I am using the OLE to patch and can not find the @att key. Where is it please?
Does anyone have a OLE keyboard template I could have?
Cheers

Hello,
"At" in the OLE is *,
this way, all of your important keys are in the number pad section of the QWERTY.
+ = and
- = Except
/ = thru
Home = On
End = Off
Page Up = Up 10%
Page Down = Down 10%
I'm not sure if anyone has genrated a keyboard overlay.
Luckily, the keyboard shortcuts are completely logical.
R = Record
L = Look
B = Blind
U = Update
Escape = Undo
Also, when you are using the OLE, a wheel mouse is your best bet.
Using the softkeys and the wheel mouse you can perform moving light functions.
Hope that helps!

I have created a profile of a 16 frame colour scroller and am tryting to attach to channel 2 in the patch screen.
It doesn't seem to appear anywhere except in the edit profiles screen.
I am using version 10.3.1
If there is a newer version of SW I would dearly love to have it.
Cheers bAz

With an accessory like a colour scroller, you "attach" it to a light. Same thing applies in the patch.
Change the "type" from Dimmer to one of the scroller dimmer options. You can then make the intensity patch to the dimmer of Fixture 2 to control the light, and scroller patch to whatever channel you used there AND use your profile.
With that in place you can then easily fade the light that is attached up and down, change colour, use move in black, and be generally useful.
TIP: Use the Filter number in your profile (L132), and that label AND the colour will appear in the colour bubble!
...and for more entertainment industry trivia and useless facts, just ask:

I just had this little runaround with scroller patching. two things i noticed:
1) In the manual it talks about an "Attributes" softkey, which is actually the Profile key, but keeping my fingers crossed the new manual will be more comprehensive.
2) I had the same issue of trying the find the Scroller Profile i had made in the profiles section. eventually i figures out you essentially have to "re-patch", that is enter the whole patch command string "fixture# @ output #..." and THEN add the profile to find the color profiles.
it just seems to me it would be nice to be able to just add the scroller without having to got through the whole pacth sequence.
just a thought
Phil
If you want to paint with light, you're going to need a Palette

You should be able to type [1] [S8-Profile] [M2-Color] [Mx-My Profile] [Enter]
Does this make sense?
