DMX Snapshot coming in 10.4.1

Post by GaryDouglas » Sat Jun 07, 2008 9:05 pm

A new tool has been added to Palette for Release in Version 10.4.1.

The new Snapshot tool allows you to route DMX inputs from any Network protocol to a special Snapshot buffer, and then snapshot live DMX levels through the Universal Attribute Control processor into the Live or Blind display.

Since DMX levels are processed through Universal Attribute Control, as long as your patch matches that of the DMX source, the live snapshot state will be comprised of real world values instead of cumbersome DMX values.

The Snapshot tool allows for replicating shows running on tired old hardware, just by sending the DMX to the network and recording the result.

Please watch this forum and for news of 10.4.1's release!
