Re: devices on the network
A visibility of network population is not part of Palette like it was part of 300/500. Factory Support would like to see it too for diagnostics over the telephone. You can presume Network Visibility has not been in the main focus for consoles as so much other new gear is now (and becoming) Shownet compliant. Somewhere between N21/C21 and R21 & A21 evolution you can expect some Network management to develop as necessity in the near future.
..that or we just lock Horizon, C/N21 and Dallas developers in the same bunker until it works..

Re: devices on the network
Now, that's a good one Sean. If things don't all work on the network then these guys need to be locked up until these things all work with each other. I think before go out the door, there are tons of things that has to be considered first and not after the fact. Anyways, we are at this point of the game and somehow some things must go and some things must be maintained for the integrity of the product. If we don't meet half way to resolve these issues, some people will get frustrated and go somewhere else to find the best solution to all these problems encountered.
