Console Software Not Responding

Hello all,
I'm relatively new to strand consoles, and today when I sat down behind the desk to write some cues I got the message from windows that "NEO Lighting Control" was not responding. I clicked "Wait for the program to respond" but eventually had to hard reset the console and power it up again before we started our Q2Q. Any suggestions for how to prevent this in the future? The console held the look on the stage as long as it was on but I had no control and frankly I find it very unsettling to have a show-critical piece of software randomly fail like that.

Our system was just recently installed, and to the extent of my knowledge is fully up-to-date.

I would find it unsettling too. What software version are you on? If not on 3.6.0.55, then upgrade. If it happens again, call tech support 800.4.STRAND.
