VGA Display

Post by reesb » Mon Oct 27, 2014 7:33 pm

The Display window for intel lights is very small. It can only display 4 MPar fixtures or 2 Movers at a time. Considering the desk can use up to 30 individually addressed fixtures this appears to be rather stingy.

The ideal would be to have each of the display areas on there own page or tab.

OR allow the operator to resize the individual windows for personal preference.

OR perhaps having a choice of layout options.

OR a larger display area for intelligent fixtures and a smaller area for conventional channels.

Any chance to include something like this on the update list?

Unfortunately there is only the memory space for 3 layouts and they are already used up.

This lack of memory is proving to be rather a frustrating block to improvements to the board (Reesb's point below, ability to enter text by external keyboard rather than dial-and-enter) - is there any way of fitting more? Can't quite imagine what the designers were thinking to cut it so fine, given how ridiculously cheap memory is! Doesn't allow any element of future proofing at all...

I don't disagree and have shared that opinion before myself.
