Console Freezes

Post by reesb » Wed Jan 29, 2014 6:31 am

Editing a cue from the cue list and then deleting a cue freezes the console. This also happens if deleting all cues. The only way to delete a cue after having edited a cue was to let the desk freeze, reboot the desk and then delete the required cue/s. Thankfully the desk boot is instantaneous

What software version are you on? how are you deleting? From the Record menu or from the Cue display?

Hi Bobby

Thanks for the quick reply. The desk freezing business happened to me several times a couple of months ago. I tried to emulate it this morning to clarify and it appears the fixit fairies have been.

Obviously it is something a little more complicated. I'm running V1.1 and it definitely happened in the cue list window, by first editing a cue and then returning to the cue list to delete another cue. Today it worked fine suggesting that perhaps its in the type of editing that a conflict is being created.

I'll keep you posted when it happens again and what button sequence causes the freeze.

Regards

Bannon

To be honest, I have seen these freezes but a reboot seems to fix it thusly I haven't been able to duplicate it. Please let me know if you have more info on this. Thanks.
