Patching Cyc Fixtures as RGB or RGB +A

Post by GeoffGooch » Thu Nov 08, 2012 9:06 pm

I am attempting to patch my cyc as one of three fixtures, a 3 Cell Cyc, or RGB or RGB +A. Unfortunately my circuiting is non-seuqential and I cannot figure out the correct commands to repatch any of these fixtures out of order. There is one old post that suggests using Patch By Output but does not give any instruction beyond this. Can anyone help me out?

Thanks,
Geoff

Sure.

Go into Patch by Fixture and patch your cyc unit. Type is RGB (or appropriate generic) and you can enter a starting address or deal with that in the next command.

I'll assume fixture 101 and starting output of 201 with Blue being 201, Green being 202 and Red being 203.

Go into Patch by Output. Type [201] [@] [101] [S4-Attribute] [M3-Blue] [ENTER]

If you have already patched, you'll get a warning that it will repatch your output.

Rinse and repeat.
