Re: (EXE) Assistant Stage Manager's View
Found the bug you spoke of. Attached is the project and a zip file of just the exe.
The image automatically stretches to the size of the windows. Do you want to stop that? It is a property of the form you would have to change in the project (and re-build). The last non-maximixed form size if not remembered either. Is that imortant to you. It could be added simply with a SETTINGS save on form re-size event.

No i dont want to stop it. I was just wondering if the window of the exe has a set size when it opens? Or does that change depending on the resolution of the monitor?
600x400 or something like that. Then I could make the images to the right size.
I showed it to me colleague recently and he asked if it was possible to have a different backround image for evey cue? In that case the BG image could be a preview of the next state on stage.

Re: (EXE) Assistant Stage Manager's View
Here is a small variation on Roberts project.
Make a sub page call "Utilities"
Look 1 is the house lights
Look 2 is the show work lights, blues or whatever.
Look 3 is the ordinary workers.
The house lights fade in 10up 7down (14 seconds to darkness if you go through 50%), the workers are all 0 time.
I'd like to be able to add a video feed to the tracking square. Would that be possible with VB and how would you go about doing that?
The background is just filler for the moment. The windows opens in 800x500.
It's the same, but also has controls for the house lights and the workings.Make a sub page call "Utilities"

Re: (EXE) Assistant Stage Manager's View
OK; I took the bait. I thought it was a very cool idea.
Here is a new updated CueTip SM that has a pane that is a feed from a live camera. The options box now looks like this: When you are not "Run in Show Mode", the image on the main screen is a live feed from the camera. (DLink and many others have Ethernet based cameras that drop a JPG image into a specified area.) At any time you can press the [Grab Image] button and it will tuck away a copy of what the camera sees live and label that image using the current cue name.
When you are in "Show Mode", the live camera feed is ignored and the image shown is taken from disk based on information from the NEXT CUE field. i.e., the Stage Manager knows what the next cue is going to look like when she calls it.

Re: (EXE) Assistant Stage Manager's View
I did my own version of this, but when I have cues that follow, the next cue display is wrong. If I have Cue 2 and 3 follow, it says Current cue: 3 (with text), Next cue 3 (without text), where it should be cue 4. What can I do to correct this?

What cue are you in when is says Current Cue 3 Next Cue 3? If Q2 and Q3 follow, so that a Go from Cue 1 takes you to Cue 4, sitting in cue 1 should report Current Cue 1 Next Cue 2. I can't make it say Next Cue 4.
