Easy access to Look Blind

Post by TaineGilliam » Thu Jul 30, 2009 2:36 pm

The syntax [Cue] 2 [S4-Blind Preview] is very nice.

Can we add [Look] 2 [S4-Blind Preview] ?

I like the idea. It would be great to expand that for palettes.

Position # (Blind Preview) and so on.

That syntax would be great!

I also like the way the 500 did it. "Shift" and the bump button for the sub would take you to a blind view of what was in the sub. Great way to make a new submaster in blind without accidentally recording cue data into it.

SHIFT BUMP on a momentary bump button toggles it.
SHIFT BUMP on a toggle button momentaries it
SHIFT BUMP on a 'down' radio button but leave the entire radio group 'up'

Look x Preview is in the works.

OK. Will [Look] 2 [S4-Blind Preview], and Look 2 doesn't exist yet, put us into a blind view of an empty Look that we then edit? This would be a handy way to make Looks on the fly without affecting the onstage Look.

[Look/Q/Position]#[Edit]
[Blind][Look/Q/Position]#[Enter]

[Look][Look] : page list Submasters
and [look]#[Enter] to create an empty Submaster

minor bug:
If you're in blind mode on a look. Hit Cue # [S4 Blind Preview].
It shows the cue in blind - Status says: Preview # Cue List. However the cue/look/patch bubbles still says looks.
