Hello,
I had the opportunity a couple of weeks ago to use the ML500 for the first time on a corporate gig that wanted club style lighting. I am a long time Hog programmer and must admit I was a little worried at first using this console for this particular show because I was not sure if it could live up to my expectations, but you guys really surprised me with this console! It was very easy to figure out and handled pretty well for what I needed!
Now on to the issue I ran into... So I was using some of the Showline Hydrus 350's on this show. I noticed that when I used the grand master that I assigned (I assigned it to fader 13) and did anything from around a 2 to 3 second fade on the master, the fixtures would lamp off. This happened a couple of times during show. At first I thought that maybe I accidentally hit something wrong, being that it was my first time on the console, but by the third time I realized that it was the grand master causing this issue. It seems that the grand master is not ignoring the control channel on the fixtures so when I do my slow fade that channels value changes and eventually sees the value to send the lamp off command.
Is this a known issue that you all are looking into? I was told that the company I was working with has not updated the console software since April of 2017. I am going into their shop next week to help them with some QC and would love to update their console if there is a fix for this issue.
Again, nice work on this console! I look forward to see what you all plan on rolling out with updates for this!
Thanks!!

Re: Issue with GM lamping off fixtures by mistake
Tech support was able to isolate this issue.
The problem is the profile itself. There is an option when you build the profile to tell the control channel to go to a certain level during blackout or when the Grandmaster is at 0. The Hydrus control channel is set to go to 69 when the grandmaster goes to 0. If the control channel goes to 69 then that sends the lamp off command to the fixture. There is an option to have it ignore the grandmaster. To do that you go to Setup then System Setup and then edit Fixture. From there you will go Edit the Show Fixtures. You will go down to control and then there is a column labeled Blackout. If you double click on that you will see an option to have it ignore the blackout.
