Using DMX Input

Post by Robinson » Mon Nov 12, 2018 9:37 am

Hello,
I have a strand light 500Ml console at work, and I wish to control it with my smartphone / iPad, using a Wi-fi router, with some ArtNet control app (here, I'm using android).
I searched online some way to do it, but I still can't find it. I tried to use DMX Input menu (on 1.21 Os version of 500ml) but I don't understand how the input patch is working, nor the Artnet Settings... and there is nothing about it on User Manual :| ...

Did someone already try it ? Do you know where I can find explanations about DMX Input / Artnet use on 500ml ?

Thanks a lot,

RobinSon.

This is from the developer...

The DMX input only works using the Hardware Port on the console. ArtNet Input is not supported. However for this purpose the console supports the OSC protocol. For example you can use the existing Touch OSC app from IOS/Android store and configure your own user interface for your device. By assigning the correct names to configured buttons these will then remote control buttons from the 500ML user interface. Attached you can find the tree of supported buttons.
