Palette Display

Post by Umstattd » Wed Jul 03, 2019 11:00 am

I have four palettes set up on my second monitor and saved in the layout manager. While using the system, the palettes displays will become hidden by patch or group screens, or others. When I want to see the palettes again I have to close the other windows or select the palettes to display. Could we get an enhancement so that hitting the "Palettes" button twice brings all of the palettes windows in the layout to the front? Just wondering.
Second issue is that currently, if I hit the palette button twice, the system crashes with the "Unexpected Error" message. Currently using version 3.9.0.340.

This sounds like some windows are docked on the 2nd monitor and some are not. That could be getting in the way of your desired responses.

Send me the bug report and would love to see a video of how you have the 2nd screen setup and it's function or lack of it.

The crash pressing the palette button twice is a known one that has been resolved in version 3.10.
A number of improvements have been made also in the area of docking and managing windows. Its hard to say for sure that all of your concerns are resolved as there are many ways that windows can be arranged and docked.
