Post by philpp » Sat Oct 01, 2016 1:36 pm

it is URGENT to find a solution to protect the NEO console against radio frequencies of talky Walky.
We found that if we use a Talky Walky near of NEO console, the console reacted very badly,
the Submasters page have changed , Cues are sent without pressing the GO button.

The Talky Walky was a distance of console lower than 2m, The brand is Motorola CP040

There are many consoles from multiple manufacturer's that have this problem. Since this is a hardware level issue, I'll send this info to the engineering staff.

I did a test with the radios that I use on productions and could not reproduce the problem as described.
What are the brand of radios you are using?
Do you know the frequency that they are operating on?

I have spoke with engineering and they need the frequency used to go further. A lot of shielding went into Neo. Over and above what was put into the LP fix.

We are wondering if somehow this could be a grounding issue.
