FX Soft Start Defaults

Post by amitschke » Sat Jul 06, 2019 9:09 pm

Evening!

Hopefully I am just missing something - Is there a setting somewhere which would allow me to turn off soft start for all newly recorded effects? Or can I globally turn it off on all effects already recorded?

Also In the FX List (F5) is there a way to sort by Effect Number (The yellow number in the right corner).

I don't see a spreadsheet type windows for editing these quickly.

Any suggestions for making this easier?

Many Thanks!
Allan

1. Sorry there is currently no option for "soft start" to be off by default.
2. If you right click on the list of FXs the bottom option in the menu is "Sort by ID".
3. I am not sure what you mean about a spreadsheet way of editing FXs? Most of the FX types do not lend themselves to this type of view.

For the spreadsheet view, I was looking for something along the lines of groups, colors, subs. So a List in which I can renumber fx, rename, change the soft start option all quickly in a row.

Thanks for the sort info, I must be blind!

BTW. The "Soft Start" default has been added as a setting for the next release.

OK -- now I have a question -- What is meant by "soft start" when recording a new effect??

It creates a fade up of the fx so that it doesn't pop or snap on.
