First is to make sure that the group is set to save all parameters. Go into the Groups display. Then under Options > Edit Palette Types, check all that is needed.

2nd make sure that when you record groups, it is using the right record style. You can either bounce thru by pressing GROUP again after you type RECORD GROUP. If you find that you are not on the right default, then go into System Props and set the right record group default.

Everything is OK. But only attributes that have changed are saved

I found a solution not the best but that work. I selected all attributes in position edit palette record default.

I've asked Martin to look at this. I think the issue lies in the parameters being in their default state being ignored.

This is how this record operation is designed to work. There is a special case for groups where if an attribute is not touched by anything then it will not be recorded even when using "selected" mode. The work around that Bobby suggested is the correct way to force the attributes into the group.
This was a design decision to aid with what we considered a more common case scenario.
