Re: save problems
So this is loading a .FDB showfile and then performing an Options > Save As.
Any other info you can provide?
Are you on 3.8.1?

Re: save problems
On 3.8, the change in the save routine is documented in the manual. Basically it works like traditional consoles work that your work is always stored in active memory but the showfile itself is not saved until you activate a save.

Re: save problems
I'm going to ask the developer to take a look here. I believe a work around is to start a new show and import the existing data then save that as the desired show.

Re: save problems
Hi, Couple of things...
1. When you see this problem occur can you open the Control Panel and go to the "Maintenance" tab. Click on the "Open log file folder" and in this resulting directory get the file "GBAK_Log.txt". This file gets overwritten every time a save happens (GBAK runs) so you need to copy it when you see the problem. Can you please attach it to this thread.
2. After grabbing the file go into the System Properties -> System Settings -> Advanced system settings and click on "Make database file smaller" button.
Once that has finished try saving the file again and see if the problem is resolved.
Thanks,
Martin
