Hello,
How about using shift+ to advance to next fixture or channel, and shift- to go back. Also it'll be really helpful that when a new fixture is selected, all other previously selected fixtures, get unselected. Does that make sense?

Next does advance to the next fixture for selection, if you are looking for it to take the current fixture out, advance to the next fixture and bring it up, that's what Highlight is for.

Once a fixture is in Highlight. Next and Last will do that.

It depends on the console you have but if you are on a console without the highlight button, it is a software function under TOOLS. Just press Shift + Tools to get access to assigning a tool to the Tools button (see tool status in the status window bottom right). Once you press Shift + Tools, all the softkeys will list your options available. One of them is Highlight. Once selected, you can activate or deactivate with the TOOLS button. (Again, just check the status in the status window).

I use Highlight all the time to run through channels one at a time. 1 HIGHLIGHT NEXT NEXT LAST and so on.
