Submasters and Cues

Post by clong68 » Thu Oct 05, 2017 5:47 pm

I have been trying to record effects onto sub-masters and then play them on top of the current cue output (ie adding colour change, or movement) with the intention that it returns to the cue output when releasing the sub-master.
Unfortunately when I do this it has the tendency to remove all previous outputs to digital lights (the patched incandescent are OK).
I can work around this by adding a cue to reset the outputs but means I have to pull the fader then press go (and I have to know how many times I plan on playing the sub).
What am I doing wrong?

I don't believe that behavior is available on that desk.
