Wait and Delay

Post by Limeburner » Tue Apr 08, 2014 2:35 am

With the GSX I have the option to add a wait time to a cue so the next cue will automatically start after a certain amount of time. Is this available with the ML250?

Another great option was to add a delay time to either the up or down channels in a cue. Can I do this with the ML250? It would be a great shame if this was lost.

Cheers

Phill

When you record a cue, you have an encoder for Follow. This is for the AutoFollow time.

So no definable delay time between the up and the down fade time available?

Sure. That's called Delay. With PaletteOS, think of time as Delay / Fade. So in the Cue Time column, you could say 3 / 5. That would be a 3 count delay and a 5 count fade. If you use this format in the Down Time column, then that will delay the down only.

The beauty of the PaletteOS timing system, is that you can do this for Position Time, Color Time, Gobo Time and Lens Time as well.

Very flexible.

Yes but we are talking about the 250ML. Is it the same?

Sorry...had a brain fart. No it is not the same and there is no delay feature. You would have to do multiple cues and follows.
