What are you using your ML250 for?

Given it's such a bad lighting controller that's prone to freezing, is poorly supported with firmware fixes, and it's too big to be used as a paperweight - what else are you using your ML for?

I'll start with,

Expensive door jam
Dust collector

I'm use mine to reminded me never to buy a Phillips Strand product ever again. One very let down customer after many years as loyal customer. They used to be the industry leader with great products.

Hi,

unfortunately, I really have to use this desk. We are a small theatre and can't afford a new one every two years.

At todays opening night I had to fight a complete crash of the desk, just by using a independent submaster while running a cue in between. Standard stuff. Then I realized that some RGB lights don't reliably keep their settings when changing in between cues. This was a very disappointing evening, for me and the visitors, too.

Thanks Strand, for delivering a desk which such a crappy software and ignoring the customers opinions. I will never buy anything from Strand again.

Just my two cents for todays evening.
