You can pretty much see everything there is at this point in the image above. Here's a video, too (I don't have a real video camera right now so the view of Palette is a seperate screencast from a different machine, ie don't fret over the synchronization of the two).

Things it does:
  • Lets you control the active cue list (delay on a good wi-fi connection is practically 0)
  • Flip your iDevice sideways to put it into monitoring mode (w/ optional full-screen flash and/or noise)
  • Works just as well as a native iPhone app (no shoddy delayed button presses or text selection popups ;) )
Things it doesn't:
  • Crash
  • It's not a RFU. miniRFU et al. have this covered
  • It's not moteOSC (I am looking at adding some submaster controls to it, though)
Things I'd love it to do but it can't due to Palette limitations (hint hint, you developers :| ):
  • Control of the split crossfader
  • Comprehensive display of cue status (individual fade times, halted/running status, etc)
Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm currently working on getting some performance issues tuned up, plus verifying the stability in "real world" situations with real hardware and real networks before I release it.

This looks like the app I would have liked to have last saturday! Looks great, I'd love to try it out. Do you have a downloadlink?
