This is an update brought on my changes at LDI 09.
Attached also is a video of 4 universes of DMX driving the new HCI pixel mapper test board.
This version needs a new library (post LDI only) that adds BEAM TIME to the PixelMapper fixture. On moving images, this is perceived as "blur" but has no affect on still images. There is also a place to set the re-fresh rate. Huge rigs may lower the refresh rate and add Beam Time to achieve quite acceptable results. (I did this on a casino exterior with 17 universes of DMX).
A % busy label is also updated. A preview check box also stops the image drawing locally. I find this had little to no affect on processor usage. It would depend on your video card drivers, so try it.

Robert,

Can you post any video of the casino or is anything available on Youtube?

Should the PixelMapper still work for 10.8.3? Somehow I can't get it to work.
PixelMapper sees my dxf as Valid and sees the pixelmapper fixture as valid. It reacts to the fixture (Image select, pan/tilt, intensity, etc.) but it doesn't return values for my rgb fixtures.
Fixture number 1/48 in the dxf, 1 /48 in the show file, dmx-adres 1/250 in the show file.

I do get some 'exceptions' in a pop-up window, telling me something about what goes wrong with the dotnet framework. Unfortunately this in dutch, so no use posting I guess...

I would really appreciate if anyone wants to test this on their console. For me it doesn't work, but I need to use it on a production very soon.

Please don't make me rent a GrandMA

I just ran 10.8.3 and Pixel Mapper 2.1.0 with the attached and it works for me. Not sure what's going on with yours.

I keep getting the .net framework error. It is working one way. From the console to the Pixelmapper (I can manipulate the images) but I get no visual feedback on the console on the color bubbles.

Should I try to reinstall .net? Which version do I need? Should I uninstall .net first?

Gooze installing older version of .Net Framework may help.
As .Net updates come out, they are usually NOT backward compatible.
You need to be running the same Framework the app was created in.

I didn't let you know that after uninstalling .net and reinstalling again. It worked.

Is there any advice on how to pixelmap movies? What format, resolution, etc. should I use? Is there a maximum length?
