I suspect the list of functions is a bit larger than the list in the editor and includes parameters that are not obvious. Any chance of posting a complete list - maybe even sticky over in OpenPalette to evolve over time?

I'd like to be able to get the output number value of a certain fixutre.

HC.GetProperty('fixture', 'output') or something.

And calling up prompt screens on the palette would be rather handy.

I just loaded this up on my Palette classic. Thus far, it works a treat. Used a standard desktop web browser to test as well. Will report back are our next production week, as I will have 4 iphones in the building to test with. (yes all my staff have iphones, even the PC based staff.)

Given that the world are all heading to smart phones of one type or another, I think strand should look into creating some more functional apps for iphones, android phones and smart phones. We have some HP PDAs running the palette RFU which is great. It would be greatly appreciated if we could get a similar piece of software for the iphone as I we use the looks page and the cue list control also.

Nice work on the web app. Thanks

speaking of iPhones, I was thinking: wouldn't it be cool to use the accelerometer on the iPhone(or subsequent hardware that has an accelerometer) to control MLs by tilting the phone!? you could put the attribute controls on the screen too, and have full control!

Sounds like the laptop in question was a Mac?
If I recall correctly certain MacBooks have a tilt sensor in them...
(Original design: Hard drive protection... Current use: Lightsaber noises)

Also... Curious if development on this APP has moved forwards at all...

So i have a question from myself and Alex Fabozzi, two semi-nerds with limited programming knowledge, about getting this up and running. we put it on my LPVL i have here in the office, and we got it working with the connected pc through firefox, so we know the program is working. we couldn't get it working, however, with either our iPod touch, Palm Pre or Zune HD browsers. we know the wireless connection is working and a good connection because the SYMBOL WRFU is connected and working through the same wireless connection. any ideas?

Check the following:
Do you use fixed ip-adresses (you can also assign a fixed ip to your iphone, once logged onto the wireless network)?
Did you check the ip-adress and the complete title of the webpage in your browsers adres-bar?
Did you change the .js-file to reflect your desks ip?
After checking these items three times (and discovering a very small mistake evrytime) I did succeed. It works great on an iPhone. You'd need to zoom manually on other devices.
I did make an adjustment to accomodate for the extra submasters on my LPVL16. Will post in the original topic as soon as I start working on the desk again next week.
