Should the Century Pad that Gary wrote be placed in this forum?

Here it is!

Binary EXE version is in the Release subfolder of the package.

The app. is really nice. It should somehow be bundled with the software.
Could it also reflect the new looks of the century array in the software itself? Were the button shows how much of the lights are in that look.

Could we call the Century Array or Century Pad or 5x5 something that makes a bit more sense to the everyday user?

My suggestions are:
PalettePicker or

The first is my favourite :P Anyone else with good suggestions?

How would I go about putting the "Century Array" in the "Additional Applications" box? I have a silver Palette and the Century Array comes in handy. I have it loaded on my E: drive now but having the Century Array in "Additional Applications" would save me a few steps.

I would run it on a separate laptop. This could be even wireless. A tablet pc would be great for this!

You can't alter Additional Apps.

One day (not this month - LDI and all) we may write an installer for the console that puts it on the desk and alters the additional apps button to include it. For now, sorry to say, you need to double click on the exe to run it on the desk.

How far are you with the installer app. Could be bundled with the new control panel when it is released?
Anyone else for the new name of this thing

I have a show next February that I have been working on getting palettes built ahead of time for a couple of DL2s and when it comes to programming the fixtures, the use of something like the CenturyArray could come in handy. However, I have a few problems with the way this application currently works and have been looking at either improving it, or writing a new one (if I can manage to wrap my head around VB quick enough).

My biggest problem with the current application is that while I have the virtual arrays on screen on the console I can change not only between each bank but also within each bank's stack. I would really like to be able to do this with this application too. I found HC commands to get the bank page name (HC.GetButtonWingPageName), to get the button names (HC.GetButtonWingButtons), to press a button (HC.ButtonWingButtonPress) and to go up and down in a bank (HC.ButtonWingPageUp & HC.ButtonWingPageDown). Unfortunately these page up and down only allow me to view buttons within that bank. For example, if my Group bank had 100 looks, I could page up and down through all of those. But in the Hardware Setup I have added more then one Look page name to the stack that I wish to be able to scroll through. Have I missed a command somewhere?

Another problem with this application is the size of the buttons and the text within them. I'm having trouble locating where the text and buttons parameters even exist.
