Post by mat » Thu Apr 10, 2008 11:16 am

I can't use the wheel when i select my groups with the virtual 5x5.
no problem with the hardware but only with the virtual one.
Only select and apply works.

If the virtual 5x5 is visible (pinned), the wheel will not work.

If you select the group, and the virtual disappears from the screen, the wheel seems to work OK.

Does it mean that selecting a group with the virtual palette and giving it a level with the wheel won't be possible?

It's possible IF you don't have the virtual 5x5 pinned such that after pressing a virtual button, the 5x5 hides. You can't keep the 5x5 up and use the wheel.

And here I am dreaming about multiple 5x5's docked on the second monitor. The main issue becomes focus. But that's what S keys/encoder buttons are for.

THIS IS UNSUPPORTED but if you want, you can try it. It's a seperate application you can run on the console's second window or even on another machine and displays 4 docked 5x5s. The 5x5 buttons work but the softkeys are display only.
