have we had any reports of crashes with V10

our client claims the consloe has now locked up three or four times , after a sequence of key strokes.
I could not get a listing of the keysteokes, still asking.

but I am cuorious if there are other reports.

I will push for more info.

One we know of is backspacing over a range

i.e. [UPDT] [CUE] [1] [THRU] [10] [BKSP]

This has been fixed and will be released in the next build.

I have to say my two demo Light Palettes are pretty rock solid. I have a bunch of clients with Palettes, and only really had one problem child (beware the console built on a Friday) ;)

Only kidding. Most of the issues I have seen have been with things that you really shouldn't do see happen in the middle of a show:
- plugging strange USB devices in
- running the update itself (all of my clients know because I tell them... DO NOT UPGRADE if you are in the middle of a season. Wait until the show is finished)
- opening the console "wearing out" the internal panel USB cable (this was a badlly fitted cable and was easily fixed)

..But I do tell them if they can find a keystroke sequence that crashes the console that I did not know about, then I will buy them a beer.
...and for more entertainment industry trivia and useless facts, just ask:
