Remote Engine Window

Post by Toast » Tue Feb 19, 2008 11:30 pm

Whenever I open up Remote Palette, the window seems to size nad locate properly when the IP address pop-up is open for confirmation, but then hides the task bar off the top of the screen... that way you cannot move it around in its reduced window mode nor can you close it through the top right "X" or the File menu... alt-F doesn't open the File menu, nor does right clicking the tab in the task bar open a drop down menu to close it (or anything wlse)... I have to open task manager and "end task" the application. Then it opens the do you want to exit window and you can close.

On other Windows applications, you can hit Alt+Spacebar to bring up the "restore" window. As this menu is disabled in this software, there lies the problem (you cannot "maximise" the window).

Is there a reason why this is disabled on the OEM?

I have found that clicking on the edge of the window usually brings the top menu/task bar to the top, unless it's hidden off the screen... I have a different layout where I have my windows task bar at the top of the screen instead of the bottom, so it likes to hide under that. And alt-spacebar triggers a "go" as I just found out, wondering why the intermission cue went to blackout... Oops.
