V10.1

Post by patf » Wed Feb 13, 2008 12:47 pm

Classic Palette V10.1
Classic Palette 200 Ch Desks.
When V10.1 is loaded and you go to a saved show, the patch comes in ok. However when you call a new show the patch comes in at 100 channels only and you have to add fixture and patch at 1: 1.
Why do you have to do this every time you call for a new show…?????? when the Desk is a 200 ch desk.

This is one of those things "on the list".

In later releases, "template shows" will provide an option.

But I do agree, when I do "File | New",
the software should default to the number of channels avilable.

...up to a limit. Lets not put 3000 channels under file new of my VL console!
...and for more entertainment industry trivia and useless facts, just ask:

The template file again.
Once a template has been created, a "File | New" should use all the settings from that template.
(Number of fixtures, patch etc.)

Of corse a "File | New" dialog box is in order, to either select a template, or not use one at all.

Rob may have a plan for this already.

I know we have been discussing for about 4 years or so.
