Keyboard stops working

Post by gooze » Sat Feb 09, 2008 5:22 pm

Sometimes the keyboard stops working on [CUE]{Label}-syntax (without cue-number) It stops completely for a while and then works again without restarting the software.

I've seen this myself :|
There is sometimes an issue (mostly on the OLE) with what Windows calls 'focus' (where the OS thinks you should be typing). It may look like Palette has focus, but clicking the mouse in the command line ensures it does when things go awry.

I'll look for your syntax to see if there is anything to that. Others report if you see similar too, please.

Hello,

I encountered a similar problem. When using the edit keys in a cue list to label cue's and to change the cue time, I can do that for 2 or 3 times. Then it changes the keyboard to CAPS and after that I cannot use the edit key anymore for some time.

We believe we've found the source of this issue and have a fix in Beta test. This fix will be included in the upcoming release.

Until the fix - if you find the CAPS appears stuck on, open the "Goto" dialogue box (Shift+Goto in non-WindowsUI personalities), and you will find you can release the caps lock in there.

For now another workaround appears to be: unplug the keyboard from the usb-port and replug it into another port.
