Monitor Freak-out?

Post by TreGranier » Sun Dec 11, 2011 7:54 pm

On multiple occasions in the resent days I have had problems with my Light Palette live and Palette Basic II (no problems with the Classic Palette II other than the occasional blue screen of DEATH, but that’s a different issue) while working on the console the main monitor will suddenly start to strobe between different screens and layer them on top of one another in the top left corner of the screen. I thought this was a isolated incident as it had only haven’t twice on the P.L. and hadn’t happened for a month or two. But last week I had the Palette Basic in the house running as the remote console for the P.L. in the booth and it happened again three times in one day. I should add that when the monitor is freaking out you can log in over the network as remote video and the display is just fine????? Also the second monitor is not affected. My only thought is it’s a driver issue in windows anyone have any thoughts?

Have you tried using a different physical monitor as your primary screen, or swapped the two you have?
