10.8.2 input record

If you have data input from another console it shouldn't record with record delta selected. Only if you use the snapshot tool. Right now it does even if it does show in yellow.

Even with Rec Minus Sub on? Where is DMX coming in? (looks or fixtures?)

REC minus looks. Record delta, update delta. Input is through artnet patched to fixtures.

The input in this case comes in at the level of a channel fader ( like on a 2 scene preset) so this behavior might be debatable.

The thought is that levels from channel sliders are recorded always. This is to avoid confusion for those using 2 scene boards.

Perhaps rec delta should ignore channel sliders?

I would think that Rec Delta should ignore channel sliders or at least incoming data.

It makes it difficult, in a road house, to record Looks on the fly if they are accessing your dimmers through your console (errant data gets recorded).
