Channel Color Problem!

Programming show in 10.8.1. Just noticed my channel colors are now showing blue for channels going up or down, and red for tracking channels, instead of the usual three colors (Classic US setup). Re-boot and reinstalling software (10.8.1, then 10.6.6 and back to 10.8.1) did not correct issue. Help!!

Might be related to earlier error which required shutdown. I think I hit Record ### while accidentally still having the cue label editor open...

Ok, I was just looking in the manual to see if anything might help, and looked back at screen, and colors were suddenly back to normal (including current cue back to usual yellow from white, another problem noticed)...

Is this related to 10.8.1? Should I go back to 10.6.6? This is tech week and I need the three channel colors consistently. Please advise. Thanks.

As your current cue bar was white instead of yellow maybe check your VGA cable and connection. Otherwise this is in the hardware setup section bottom tab, where it says Console Personality.

I changed personalities, and all four showed up with just two colors-- cyan and red... Connector is fine. Wondering if I have a bad monitor problem...? I noticed earlier that my blues would go greenish tint sometimes...

Now I'm thinking it is the monitor or cable. Somehow maybe I'm losing yellow. That might make green go cyan, purple go red, and yellow go white.... which might explain things..?

Ok- I misspoke when I said the connector was fine, I meant it was connected well (screwed in tight). The problem was a bad VGA cable. Problem solved. Thanks.
