Patch

Post by gooze » Sat Feb 20, 2010 1:10 pm

Give feedback to make it better:
Make an effort for patch!

Latest patch annoyance (part #5012):
Delete all fixtures.
Make 6 VL2500's (1>6)
Make 7 VL500D's (11>17)
Patch them starting from dmx 2.1

I type [1][TRU][1][7][@][2][.][1][TRU][Enter]

This results in inserting fixtures 7>10 as dimmers and patching them. Nobody could ever have intended this. Please change. Adding fixtures already can be done by: {S2 - Add fixture}

In this case you are right, but if you delete all fixtures and type [1][thru][100][@][1.1] you would want it to add the fixtures, no?

If there are gaps they are intentional, if there aren't any channels channels should be added.

A rule could be: if the first fixture in the range exists, extra fixtures cannot be added.

If the first fixture in the range doesn't exist, you probably want to add fixtures (and patch them right away)
