Problem with pan & tilt

Post by bnortin » Mon Jul 20, 2009 2:41 pm

We're having an issue when we swap pan & tilt on a moving-mirror fixture, specifically Rosco I-Cues, Cyberlights & Intellabeams. By default the I-Cues have a pan range of -115 to +115 degrees and a tilt range of -28.6 to +28.6 degrees. When pan & tilt are swapped, the limits seem to stay with the encoders, not with the attributes in the profile. After swapping, the I-Cue is limited at the console to only "tilt" (actually pan on the fixture) -28.6 to +28.6 degrees. With "pan", the console says it can go from -115 to +115 degrees, but the fixture is physically limited to -28.6 to +28.6 degrees. Is there a way to fix this issue at the console or is it something in the OS or fixture profile?

Known issue.

Hopefully will be fixed in 10.8 release, and 10.7 series Beta.

This bug still present in 10.8 - Really could have used it today :(
