Cue number column width

Post by amoyer » Thu Nov 27, 2008 2:36 pm

I have a show that is doing some weird things to the cue number column width only on the Light Palette Live and not on the OLE. I have attached the show file to see if anyone else is seeing the same thing. I can change the width of the column, but any time I update a cue, or record a new cue, the column width gets expanded again.

This show was an import from a 500 console and all seemed fine on the OLE but this is kind of strange. There are a couple of part cues that is the only thing I could think might be keeping the width so wide, but I'm not sure of that either. I'll try deleting them just out of curiosity. Next step would be to start deleting cues and find the offending cue.

Nevermind. I rebooted the software and now it doesn't do it. Still strange but at least it is fixed.

Another column width weirdness... The cue label column width keeps going back to a width that doesn't show everything in this column. I resize it and as soon as I update or record a cue it goes back to it's previous size. I'm sure if I reboot the console it will be fine, but it's kind of annoying that I would have to do this.

Is it actually re-sizing or is it just scrolling the whole pane to the right. I had this last week at Stage West. After updating a cue (or going to a cue), the Blue Box moves the the current cue's CUE TIME cell (in case you want to adjust the time, you just have to hit EDIT). If the CUE TIME cell is not visible, it may scrolle the thumb over a bit and move things around on you. You may need to adjust the width of the left panes.

I have this when I have cues with separators like 100.5 or 100 part A, B etc.

And now I have it too. It is actually resizing on the following syntax:

Record [Live] (Cue 119) Label Das Mondlicht Nein dort [Enter]

And not by a small bit.

FS#1230 - Don't resize the cue list number column automatically

Added and fixed.
