Good day, all...I'm not sure this is the place to post this suggestion, but here goes, anyway...

Would someone please fix the spelling of "Acrobate Reader" behind the "other programs" button of the Control Panel?

Thanks in advance...

David

Right - funny thing is - it's been wrong for 5 years. Thanks for noticing.

Thanks, Robert...

So the next question is: how do I know when this has been incorporated into an available update? I'm guessing that this would be part of the "shell program" item available from the StrandLighting Support area...

Thats correct, the next release say 10.6.2 would have the shell update.
5.9.3 I would guess.

So is the shell included in the Palette software update? or must it be installed separately?

Thanks...

Palette s/w and Control Panel (shell) used to be separate installs. As of about 6 months ago, there is only one.

So...I just loaded 10.6.2, and we still can run "Acrobate Reader"...

If [EDIT]it really bothers you, you could correct it yourself.
Press {S4 - Control Panel}, Open NotePad, Open "Horizon->AditionalApps.txt", change this line:

Code: Select all

Adobe Acrobat Reader #C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 6.0\Reader\AcroRd32.exe
Also great for adding your own additional apps to the list.

I don't know if I'm "really bothered" by this, but it does seem less than completely professional...

And thanks for the clue to correct it...will do so as I encounter it again.
