To Make A Fan Type Chase

Here's one that I've been trying to figure out for a while. Scenario:
You have 10 lights in a row(channels 111-120). You want them to chase(wrap) from centre out.

1) Select the fixtures in the order you want them to chase - ie. 115-111+116-120, enter(or at a level if not already on)
2) Press S10(Effects)>New Intensity Effect
3) Select Square Wave Wrap
4) Change Block Size(M2) to 2
5) Press "Pattern"(M11)(you might have to press "Function"(M1) first to display the Pattern key)
6) Change "Offset" (encoder 1) to Start Fan
7) Adjust the Rate as desired

Does anyone know of another way of doing this?

Good question. I would probably do a step based chase.

Try this
Select fixtures 5/1 + 6/10
then set level as needed
s10 {effect} new intensity effect
select square wave wrap
s4 {xtimes} set to 2
adjust rate as desired

That's a good solution.
