Windows 10 and Palette

Any news on how Palette software behaves on Windows 10? Is it officially supported or does it just work?

It only became available yesterday. I won't be able to test for several days due to my schedule. So at this point, I don't know.

I upgraded to WIndows 10 and the first problem I encountered was when I was using the Remote Pallette software I could not adjust channel levels using the wheel on my mouse.

Since I am using the Palette software (with the panels) on a Windows PC (Mac running Bootcamp), I am especially interested how the USB drivers for the Palette VL panels are holding up. I had to install them with a little trick on Windows 8.1, but on that system everything is working fine now.

PS. Still the best decision was to get rid of the inferior, noisy, built-in processor and replace it with a Mac mini running Bootcamp. Almost every problem I ever had with the desk, disappeared due to the super stable hardware.

Alright, so I did some testing with Windows 10. The good news is that it works for the most part. You'd have to do the same procedures as you'd have to do with windows 8 (install the patch from the Strand website for the two .ocx files and install your usb panel drivers allowing unsigned drivers).
The only thing you cannot use is the internal web server, since the Mongoose server software is to old to work properly under windows 10. I believe that the remote iPhone app still works without the web server switched on.

Everything is working on windows 8 as well. I have been using Palette software for a long time as a IT company CEO and I have to say I never had any problems at all.
