If I were to purchase Cast Lighting's WYSIWYG R29 Perform Edition would I be able to export the design and cue lists into my Palette VL16?

It depends. We don't read other companies file formats but if they export ASCII, then we could read the data. This still leaves more questions than answers really but if Cast can export into a universal format, then we can likely do something with the data.
