Connecting an Old dimmer pack

Hi everyone I have an old analog dimmer pack I would like to connect to my Palette VL. It has a 3 prog connector that I can attach to a DILOR Litepack M1224 that has a 5 prong output. I currently have all the channels for that dimmer pack working and setup.

Is it possible to make the old analog one work? or is my only option to get another digital 5 prong dimmer pack?

Regards,
Kevin

Pathway Connectivity has devices that can turn DMX into just about any control signal.

Thank you Brian for your input. I was able to get a DMX converter it turns out I had one in a back room already. Its a I/F NSI 501 interface unit. I got it to recognize a signal from the board however I have been having difficulties getting it to accept the correct address input. It has been years since I did any patching on the board and I never did much of it. So I am a complete novice when it comes to this. When I set it up under the default dimmer setting it was not responsive. However if I set the address to the same as one of my intelligent Vari*lite it does active some of the channels and I have no idea why.

I appreciate any suggestions you have.

Regards,
Kevin

Check your Patch Routing page. You should see which Routes are outputting by the Live Data setting. Default settings will have the Start at 1, End at 512 and the NetSlot set to 1 for the first route which is going out the first DMX port.

If you don't know your converters settings and have no way of telling or adjusting, you may need to adjust the NetSlot assignment on that route.
