Momentary stoppage of effects

Post by tferr » Thu Nov 03, 2011 3:26 pm

We are currently programming for a concert coming up in our venue and need some assistance. We have a cue with a couple effects in them; color chase, intensity chase, movement effects. We need to be able to stop these effects with a momentary button press. Think of highlighting the fixtures and pressing 'Force Delta', then releasing them to go about their merry way. I'm not exactly sure on how to go about this, as using the 'Force Delta' button is too time consuming to reset after you release the channels. During the show we won't know how many times to stop them, so a cue wouldn't work. Any ideas?

The easiest thing to do is write a look master that is set to "Assertive LTP".
When you write the look, be sure to force delta on the entire fixture,
then record "changed - delta"
