How to Park

Post by jmac » Tue May 03, 2011 9:33 pm

How do I park a dimmer/fixture/channel at say 30%?

I found a place with Park Groups ABCD, and Activate Park Groups ABCD, but can't quite figure it out...

Thanks!

How to Park

To park a patched fixture:
Select the fixture in live and set it to the desired level.
No press the park softkey (one of the green ones) and press Enter.
To unpark use the same softkey with shift.
Note that the fixture gets a green P on the screen but that the levels keep changing with you cues. This is only on your screen. The level doesn't change on stage.

If want to do this directly on outputs or dimmers go to patch. Here you can choose to add outputs to park groups. After that you have to switch the groups on or off to actually park them. I'm not sure you can set the levels here as well.
This last option is great for directs for movers. Or have another group for workers or for video, etc.
