palette vl fader help

Post by consolemonkey » Fri Apr 22, 2011 6:30 pm

I just went back to a palette vl with 64 faders. Recorded looks in subs played back fine. Ran a intensity chase (no movers in rig) came out of it and now all the subs on the right hand side of the console are disabled. They all work if you grab them virtually but only faders 17 - 24 & 41 - 48 work by grabbing the handle. I also work with an eos so I am not famliar with whether this is something I've done or a bug in the board or its updated software. Help!!! Tried reloading my new show an old show no effect in disgust I shut it down till tomarrow but cann't let it go.

I would try openning the console and reseating the usb cables, then reboot the console. Sometimes just a reboot will reload the drivers.

Yes. This is likely a tile issue and I would start by checking connections. You can see each tile in Help > Hardware Status and using the Hardware test from the Control Panel.

Thank you both for the advice and rebooting the console worked this morning. I'm looking forward to working more with the console this summer.
