movers taking short cut

Post by Taras » Thu Nov 11, 2010 3:36 pm

2 movers in this cue. Mover 1 is given a path to follow over a cue time. Mover 2 is given a mirrored path in the same cue. At GO mover 1 takes the path while mover2 takes the shortest route to end position. What cueing error is being made?

It sounds like one fixture is set to polar movement and the other fixture is set to linear movement. This is setup in position of the fixtures S5, S1 P/T mode. Check to see if they are both set the same.
