Our Preset Palette controls 2 Right Arm fixtures . We have complete control when suddenly the arm flops out of control. The right arms are daisy chained with 2 Elation design spot 250s. Any insights ?

It sound like you lost power to the right arms. Can you still dim the fixture attached to the right arm?

The fixture is a LED Projector. Power seems to be consistent because other fixtures on same A/C are fine. I'm thinking an unidentified dmx signal from the board. Very confusing

Is the unit flopping when it is tilted in a downward direction? I generally find that the issue is with the balance of the unit mounted within the right arm. The motors have the ability to compensate for a minor unbalanced load but it will get to a point when the motors can not hold the unit slips.

I think you are right with the balance situation, since it always happens just after the apex of a downward tilt. Any thoughts on rebalancing or counter balancing?
Presently the moving L bracket is tucked in tight to the arm.
