intensity effects in cues

Post by ILYtech » Tue Jul 20, 2010 9:40 pm

Hey All-

I've been working with effects and have been able to get the new intensity effects to save and work properly as subs, but have been unsuccessful recording as cues and keeping them working. Is there a step I'm missing?

I've looked at the demo that was posted in another topic, as well as the new section of the manual that was available and still seem to be missing something. If you have any ideas that would be great!

Thank you!
Danielle

The key to intensity effects is record delta. If they are not recorded as Delta, you will have problems. Below I have outlined the steps to a simple effect

-Select channels to be in the effect (Selection order counts)
-double tap S10
-Select effect type
-Adjust parameters
-Then hit "Shift"+"Record"
-Hit S3 record type.
-Change this to DELTA. Adjust any other item. Then hit OK

To stop effect in a cue
-select channels to be stopped
-assign level. "@ 0" will not delta the channel . The channel must have the triangle in order to be recorded correctly
-Then hit "Shift"+"Record"
-Hit S3 record type.
-Change this to DELTA. Adjust any other item. Then hit OK
