Crash!

Post by JohnnyBITE » Thu Apr 29, 2010 10:09 am

My desk keeps going into offline editor mode. Any idea on how/why this is occurring? I've checked the channel key and it seems to be seated properly.

When it does this it also crashes - freezing faceplate/keyboard. Yay.

You should contact Strand tech support directly.
In the meantime, try using a different USB port for your channel key.
This is most likely a USB bus issue.

If the channel key, tiles, and keyboard stop functioning, but you can still control with a mouse (or keyboard) plugged into the back of the console, then it is a usb hub issue.

I've also had this happen on the Light Palette VL due too poorly seated cables inside (For the Playbacks/Looks/etc)
