Effects Handling

Post by GeoffGooch » Thu Feb 11, 2010 4:22 pm

So there seems to be a known bug with position effects that make anything saved to a look/submaster default to working from the 50/50 home position. Is this bug fixed in a newer release? And does anyone have good advice on live handling of effects?

Make a new cuelist with the effect. Then program a macro on fader up that starts that cue in the new cuelist. On fader down (passing 1%) release the cuelist. You can make it more subtle by adding a fade time. Or make a first cue with an autofollow that makes the effect fade in.
