print to PDF

Post by richlambe » Tue Oct 06, 2009 11:34 am

When I try to print my cue list to PDF every page has large black rectangles blocking out the bottom quarter of the page.
The text is there but "underneath" the black, why is this?

Printing is screwed up at the moment. It's on our priority list. Sorry for the inconvenience. Try an CSV export and use Excel.

Has there been any movemnt on fixing the PDF printing? This has been broken for over 6 months now, and is extremly frustrating when under time pressueres.

I am currently preparing all my tours for the year and again have to jump through hoops just to print a plot. It is possible to extract the data from a csv, but it is time consuming and painful.

Is there any time frame on the next software release?

Substantial improvements have been made in the past fortnight. These will be in Beta shortly (within the month). If you're in a pickle right now - we can take your spf and give what we have a shot here in house. There is still plenty of tweaking to be done before we're happy.

I don't know if this helps or not Robert... But the version we're currently running shows nothing selectable when I try to print to PDF... I was forced to use 10.6.2013 to print, and of course got the lovely CIA 'Redacted' black blocks.

CSV really isn't an option, as it doesn't mark Auto Follows... I ended up marking down the 'blacked out' cues in pen on the printed sheets...

Hi Robert

thanks for the offer to transfer data, i have a machine with v10.6.1 which worked for me, still reasonably inconvenient though.

In terms of upgrades, is it possible to expand the print options to include State of the Board Sheets? I am well versed in using ascii fils and show port, but it is an extra set of double handling, givien that there is a computer under the hood of the console and it is running windows.

thanks

We have a list of items to attend to for 10.6.4. Once HC is ready to put something into beta, it will be out. Gary is working on a few more items.

Any idea when it might be ready. If my HOD finds out we havn't got accurate printouts we're going to end up having to handwrite them sooner or later.

Send your showfile to
support@horizoncontrol.com
and we can send you the PDFs.

Reports are pretty much finished,
but they are in a REALLY beta version.

10.6.4 has come out.

Can we print to PDF yet?

I see no mention of it in release notes.
