configuring Artistic Licence node with palette

Post by Lizzz » Tue Aug 25, 2009 6:19 am

With the lightpalette classic I want to configure a node. The node is from Artistic Licence. I should be able to configure it with the internal web page of the node.
That works fine with a regular PC running internet explorer 7 but with the palette I get this:

“The XML page cannot be displayed cannot view XML input using XSL style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later.”

Does somebody have any idea what I can do about it?
I got the idea that it’s something with a missing file in windows because it’s embedded.

Thanks Lizzz

Have you tried using the Firefox browser? You can find it under the Additional Apps icon.

For transferring artnet datastreams to the node, it may not be necessary but for communicating with it for configuration it probably is necessary to put the desk on the same tcp/ip subnet. So if the node is at 10.20.0.99 with 255.0.0.0, the desk needs to be at 10.20.0.xx with the same 255.0.0.0 to open the webpage in Firefox. Where xx stand for any number, but not the same as the node.
